Junior middle blocker Jazzlyn Kenner is the USA South Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 7. Kenner becomes the first LC volleyball player to earn the honor in back-to-back weeks.
Kenner averaged 3.77 kills, with a .337 hitting percentage, and 1.54 blocks per set as the Panthers posted a 2-1 record versus USA South opponents. In a 3-2 loss to Huntingdon, Kenner posted 17 kills, nine blocks, one dig and one service ace. In a 3-1 victory over Berea, she notched 18 kills, six blocks and four digs. Finally, in a 3-1 win over Agnes Scott, Kenner totaled 14 kills, six digs, five blocks and one assist. For the season, Kenner has a team-leading 136 kills and 62 total blocks.
