Volleyball: Panthers take two USA South matches from Agnes Scott and Berea

LaGrange took a pair of USA South matches from Berea and Agnes Scott by identical 3-1 scores Saturday in Richter Gym. The Panthers have won four of their last five to up record to 6-8 overall and 4-3 in conference play.

The Panthers opened the day by beating Berea 25-13, 25-20, 18-25, and 25-15. Jazzlyn Kenner recorded a match-high 18 kills, a .469 attack percentage and six block assists. Mimi Loftus added eight kills and 10 digs. Courtney Swafford had a match-high 19 digs. 

Agnes Scott took the first set 25-14. The Panthers roared back to take the match by scores of 25-11, 25-14, and 25-19. Kenner once again led LC with a match-high 14 kills. Paeton Robinson added 11 kills. Loftus had a double-double of 10 kills and 11 digs. Lauren Sanders had 29 assists and six digs. Swafford had another match-high 14 digs, while Madison Lewis added 16 assists. 

The Panthers play a USA South tri-match against Covenant and Piedmont next Saturday at Demorest, Georgia.
