Women's Tennis: Eppes receives Dr. Waights G. Henry academic award

The LaGrange College Athletic Department presented academic awards to student-athletes for the 2018-19 academic year in ceremonies Thursday in Callaway Auditorium.

Senior women's tennis player Jenna Eppes received the Dr. Waights G. Henry Academic Award, given to the senior female student-athlete with the highest-grade point average. Eppes carries a 3.97 GPA and will graduate summa cum laude with a degree in Accountancy. She has earned USA South Academic All-Conference and ITA Scholar Athlete honors three straight years. Eppes is a two-time USA South All-Conference selection and three-time West Division first team choice. As a freshman, she was the USA South Rookie of the Year.

Eppes received the Exceptional Accounting Award for the highest graduating GPA in the Accountancy/Business department. She was inducted into the Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society. Eppes serves as President of Baptist Collegiate Ministries
