Year-end awards for the LaGrange women's tennis team were handed out recently. The Panthers finished the 2015 season 7-7.
Junior Morgan McDonald was selected as the team's Most Valuable Player. McDonald was named to the USA South All-Conference second team. She posted an 11-1 record this season at #1 singles, including a 9-1 mark in the USA South. During the past two seasons, McDonald has an overall record of 22-4 the past two seasons.
Sophomore Denney Meigs received the team's Coaches Award. Meigs was 6-7 this season, playing al but two matches at #3 singles. She and Kaitlin Smith had a 6-3 record at #3 doubles. Meigs represented the Panthers on the USA South All-Sportsmanship team.
