LaGrange student-athlete academic awards were presented in ceremonies Thursday in the Mariotti Gymnasium. The awards were presented by athletic director Phil Williamson.
Senior Kelsey Tinker was one of two student-athletes awarded the Waights G. Henry Academic Award given to the female student-athlete with the highest overall grade point average. Tinker, a religion and philosophy major, has a 3.97 GPA.
Tinker was a four-year member on the women's tennis team. She earned Great South Athletic Conference All-Academic honors the past two years.
