Women's Soccer: Panthers fall to Millsaps in overtime

JACKSON, Miss. - Millsaps took a 1-0 overtime win over LaGrange on Sunday in a non-conference game. The Panthers (0-2) lost their second straight 1-0 decision. The Majors (1-1) got the winning goal just one minute into the extra period as Mary Ranager scored off an assist from Hannah Johnson. 

Game Notes:

  • The last two meetings between the Panthers and Majors have been scorless after regulation. Last season's meeting ended in a scoreless tie.
  • The two teams each had one shot in the first half. The Panthers had a 5-4 shot advantage in the second half.
  • Both teams had three corner kicks.

  • Sydney Dailey had three of the Panthers' six shots, with two on goal.
  • Zoe Watts had two shots, with one of those on goal.
