Women's Soccer: Panthers, Agnes Scott play to scoreless tie in USA South battle

LaGrange's season came to an end after playing Agnes Scott to a scoreless tie in a USA South game Monday. The two teams were playing for the final tournament berth in the conference's West Division.

Agnes Scott (4-10-2, 1-6-1 USA South) won the coin toss after the game for the sixth seed and will play third-seeded Covenant on Wednesday. The Panthers finished the season 4-9-2 and also 1-6-1 in conference play, winning more games this year than the previous two seasons combined.

LC goalkeeper Emma Smith had eight saves on the night. She had six in the first half alone. The Panthers had their best scoring chances in the first half, with four of their five shots on goal coming in the half.
