MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon College edged LaGrange College 2-1 on Wednesday. The Panthers fell to 1-6 on the season. It was the sixth straight loss for the Panthers.
Huntingdon (3-2-1) got the game winner in the 66th minutes as Crystal Flores scored unassisted. The Hawks other goal by Molly Crossno came in the first half.
The Panthers tied the game in the second half. Freshman Shelby Stanfield scored off an assist from Stephanie Fowler in the 60th minute, tying the game 1-1. It was Stanfield's second goal of the season.
Huntingdon goalkeeper Jenny Burnash had nine saves in the game. The Panthers outshot the Hawks 12-6 in the game. Chelsea Totaro had four saves for the Panthers.
The Panthers host Emmanuel on Friday at 7 p.m. They play at Berry on Sunday at 2 p.m
