Women's Lacrosse: Davida White's record breaking game leads Panthers to first win of season

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Senior Davida White had a record breaking game to lead LaGrange to its first win of the season, defeating Salem 17-11 on Saturday. The Panthers are now 1-8 overall and in the USA South.

White set a school record and tied the USA South mark with 12 goals in the game. She shattered the previous mark of eight goals, set three times. The senior's first goal of the game was her 100th of her career, becoming the third player in the program's history to reach the mark. White is third on the school career goals list with 111. She also had an assist to finish with a school record 13 points, breaking Madeline LaCavera's mark of 10 set last season against Brenau. 

The Panthers play at Pfeiffer in a USA South game Sunday.
