Swimming: Swim teams break three school records at SCAD Invitational

The LaGrange swim teams had outstanding performances at the SCAD Invitational in Savannah, Ga. The teams broke three school records and set a number of personal bests.

"It is always a great feeling to see everyone's hard work payoff in such a great way," Coach Devin James said. "The team has set a goal to break 10 school records this season in efforts to reset all the school records within four years. We are making great progress this season with only six more records to be broken and we are already within a second of at least three of those. Great meet all around!"

Freshman Connor Cochran broke the 500-yard freestyle record with a time of 5:06. Cochran broke the 1,650 freestyle record for the third time this season with a time of 17:12.  David Edmondson, Craig Kennedy, Tim Garnett, and Aatiq Bradley broke the 400 medley relay record by four seconds with a time of 3:51.
