"Very proud of the seniors coming out today," Coach Kendal Wallace said. "Its been a great season for those four guys and a great four years. They have all been a great part of what we have accomplished here very proud of them."
Bonner moved into 13th on the school's career points list with 1,308. Parker had 10 points, five rebounds, and four blocks in the game. He is now 10th with 52 career blocks. Rosetti pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds.
The game was 40 minutes of end to end action, with a host of turnovers and fouls. The two teams combined for 58 turnovers and 52 fouls in the game. The Panthers (12-10) made 33-of-46 free throws, compared to Pfeiffer (17-4) making 12-of-22. The Falcons, though, hit 16 3s to the Panthers' four.
"If we did not turn the ball over so much we would have had a real opportunity but the turnovers killed us." Wallace pointed out. "We're one game behind where we were this time last season and I think this game helped us get better for the three upcoming games. We took this game as a learning experience and we knew it was not going to count for our conference record.
"Of course we wanted to win, we come out every night to play to win. We knew it was going to be a challenge and a different style that we were used to. I feel like we played as well as we could."
Bonner's layup gave the Panthers a 29-22 lead with 8:41 left in the first half. Pfeiffer went on a 19-1 run to take the lead for good. The Falcons led 52-40 at halftime.
The Panthers close out their home schedule Wednesday against Huntingdon. Game time is 5:30 p.m. After Wednesday, LC closes out the regular season next weekend at Berea and Maryville.
