LaGrange closed out its 2018-19 season with a sixth place finish at the USA South Tournament on Saturday at Highland Country Club. The Panthers had a final round score of 302 for a tournament total of 895. Huntingdon won the tournament in a runaway by 26 shots over second-place Methodist.
Sophomore Sam Rogers was the low finisher for the Panthers. Rogers had a final round even par 72 for a 217 total, tying for 10th in the individual standings. Fellow sophomore Ben Womack was 14th after a final round 76 and was two shots back of Rogers at 219. Mathias Andersen also had a 76 in the final round for a 227 total. Rob Simpson (232) and Thomas Bird (240) rounded out the scoring for LC.
