2018-19 in Review: Men's basketball places record three players on USA South All-Conference teams

The LaGrange men's basketball team placed a record three players on the USA South All-Conference teams as announced by the conference office.

Seniors Jamison McCray and Travis Thompson were named to the second team. Senior Jalen McCallum was a third team selection. Senior Elijah Adedoyin was LC's representative on the All-Sportsmanship team.

McCray, a guard, led the team in scoring, averaging 15.3 points per game. He also led the team in field goal attempts (268) and field goals made (133). McCray was fourth in the USA South conference with an 84.7 free throw percentage (81-of-96). He finished his career with 873 points. 

Thompson averaged 13.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game at forward. He shot 51.9 percent from the floor and 78.5 percent from the free throw line. Thompson was third on the team in 3-point field goals (31) and assists (51).He finished with 943 career points and 491 rebounds.

McCallum averaged 12.5 points per game. He led the team and was fifth in the conference in rebounding, averaging 7.5 per game. McCallum was first in the conference with 95 blocks, setting a new single-season record. He leads all NCAA divisions with 3.8 blocks per game. He set a new school career record with 135 blocks. In addition, McCallum was second in the conference in shooting, making 61.1 percent of his shots.

Adedoyin played in all 26 games with 15 starts. He averaged 5.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Adedoyin was fifth on the team with 37 assists.
