Cross Country: Panther teams compete at North Georgia Invitational

OAKWOOD, Ga. - The LaGrange cross country teams competed at the North Georgia Invitational on Saturday. 

Sophomore Sarah Bearden finished 22nd out of 170 runners on the women's side. Bearden had a time of 24:22. She was the second fastest runner by one second of the four Division III teams in the 20-team field.

Davida White followed Bearden with a time of 28:33. She was followed by: Ashley Wright (28:55), Jessica Morton (31:09), Lydia Subat (35:53), and Nicole Spafford (39:16).

For the men, Chris Smith led the way with a time of 32:18. John Lynch (34:10), Bill Singleton (34:35), Hiram Haro-Oropeza (34:48), and Andre Landry-Andrews (38:06) followed Smith.

The teams run in the Maryville Invitational on Oct. 3.
