Panther teams finish season at GSAC championship meet

MARYVILLE, Tenn. – The LaGrange College cross country teams finished the 2010 season at the Great South Athletic Conference Championships. The Panthers had a men's runner earn All-Freshman honors and four members earn All-Academic honors.

Josh Valls led the men with a 13th place finish. Valls had a time of 31:43.6 over the 8K course and earned conference GSAC All-Freshman honors. Todd Dresdow followed Valls with a time of 36:22.4. The rest of the men's times were: Devin James (36:43.0); Joe Strickland (37:01.4); Robert Harste (41:04.0); Ben MacMinn (44:09.6); Chris Reed (44:57.7).

Kindall Parmer was the women's high finisher with a 32nd place finish. Parmer had a time of 33:56.5 over the 6K course. The rest of the women's times were: Christa Von Borstel (34:26.7); Kelsey Harris (37:06); Kelsey Tinker (40:13.8); April Trimback (40:14.2).

James, Tinker, Von Borstel and Jessica Shaver earned GSAC All-Academic honors. Von Borstel and Blake Shuler received GSAC Sportsmanship awards.
