Volleyball: Panthers continue hot streak by sweeping Talladega on the road

TALLADEGA, Ala. - The LaGrange volleyball team continued its hot streak by sweeping Talladega on Wednesday night. The Panthers improved to 6-8 with their sixth win in the last seven matches.

The Panthers took the match by scores of 27-25, 25-21, and 25-19.

Freshman Emily Arnold led a balanced scoring attack for the Panthers with six kills and a .545 attack percentage. Freshman Danyelle Carr and sophomore Katie Chancellor each had five kills.

Sophomore Mary Katherine Schmitz led the team with 17 assists, while sophomore Aspen Coggins had 12 digs.

The Panthers open USA South play Saturday against Piedmont and Huntingdon in Montgomery, Ala.
