Volleyball: Panthers sweep Toccoa Falls for second straight win

TOCCOA FALLS, Ga. - LaGrange swept Toccoa Falls 3-0 on Tuesday night for its second straight win. The Panthers upped their record to 2-7, while Toccoa Falls slipped to 2-6.

The Panthers took the match by scores of 25-23, 25-19 and 25-17. They had a season-best .345 attack percentage.

Freshman Emily Arnold led the Panthers with 11 kills and posted a .417 attack percentage. Junior Kaitlyn Sitterson had eight kills and 10 digs. Sydney Marshall had six kills in seven attempts, while having two solo blocks and four block assists.

Freshman Sarah Gore tied a team season best with 31 assists. Sophomore Sterling Nacrum led the team with 17 digs.

The Panthers play at Agnes Scott in a non-conference match Wednesday.
