Women's Tennis: Huntingdon edges Panthers 6-3 in USA South match

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Huntingdon edged the LaGrange women's tennis team 6-3 on Tuesday. The Panthers are 5-4 in the USA South and 7-4 overall.

The Panthers lost two close doubles matches. Denney Meigs and Macy Milford fell 8-6 at #1 doubles, while in #2 doubles Morgan McDonald and Ali Herring were edged 9-7.

McDonald won in straight sets at #1 singles and Kaitlin Smith won in three sets at #4 singles. Smith and Delaney James took the #3 doubles match 8-5.

The Panthers play three USA South matches in three days beginning Friday at Piedmont. They then play at Methodist and N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday and Sunday.
