Women's Tennis: Covenant ends Panthers' win streak

Visiting Covenant ended the LaGrange women's tennis team's four-match winning streak with an 8-1 USA South win Saturday. The Panthers are now 5-2 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

Junior Morgan McDonald won at #1 singles for the Panthers, defeating Gretchen Rowe 6-4, 6-4. The Panthers also won two exhibition matches, Delaney James beat Jessica Rowe 8-2 and Nina Wyman won 8-0 over Mackenzie Jones.

The Panthers' USA South match at Piedmont for Sunday has been postponed due to forcasted inclement weather. It will be rescheduled at a later date.
