Tennis: Men's and women's teams hold annual banquet

The LaGrange tennis teams held their annual banquet recently. Head coach Matt Donnett handed out individual awards for the recent 2013 season.

Junior Caroline Brashier was the women's Most Valuable Player for the third straight year. Brashier was a third team USA South All-Conference selection. She was 7-9 at #1 singles and 10-6 at #1 doubles with Kelsey Ellison.

Freshman Morgan McDonald received the women's Coaches Award. McDonald was the team's representative on the USA South All-Sportsmanship team. She had a team-best 9-5 record, including a 7-4 mark in conference competition.

For the men, sophomore Alex Glass was the Most Valuable Player. Glass played the entire season at #1 singles and at #1 doubles. He had a 3-11 singles record and was 2-12 with Wade Fegley in doubles.

Senior Stevie Harrison received the Coaches Award for the men. Harrison was a team-best 7-6 at #6 singles, including 4-4 in conference matches.
