Women's Soccer: Huntingdon beats Panthers 2-0 in USA South match

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - LaGrange fell 2-0 to homestanding Huntingdon in a USA South match Wednesday. The loss left the Panthers 1-5 overall, while the Lady Hawks upped their record to 8-2 and 2-0 in conference play.

DeAundra Green and Saige MacLeay combined for 11 saves in goal for LC. Green played the first half, allowing a goal and making six saves. MacLeay worked the second half, surrendering a goal while having five saves.

The Panthers were outshot 32-4 in the match, including 13-1 in shots on goal. Camryn Hale scored in the 37th minute of the first half for Huntingdon. Reilly Feeney closed out the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 79th minute.

The Panthers host Berea on Saturday in a USA South match and Millsaps in a non-conference match Sunday.
