Women's Soccer: Panthers fall to Salem and Piedmont on USA South weekend road trip

LaGrange lost a pair of weekend road games against USA South foes Salem and Piedmont. The Panthers are now 1-9-2 on the season, including 0-6-1 in conference play.

Sophomore goalkeeper Jesse Grogan had a season and career-high 12 saves Sunday in a 2-0 loss to Piedmont. After giving up two first half goals, Grogan had five second half saves to keep the Lady Lions off the scoreboard.

On Saturday, Salem stopped the Panthers 10-0. The Panthers had five shots on goal in the match.

The Panthers play at Maryville on Friday and Covenant on Saturday in USA South matches.
