Women's Soccer: Berry spoils Panthers' home opener

Berry spoiled LaGrange's home opener Tuesday at Panther Field. The Panthers were playing at home for the first time after opening the season with two games on the road.

Freshmen Jesse Grogan and Saige MacLeay combined for 14 saves in goal for the Panthers (0-3) in the 7-0 loss to the Vikings (2-0-1).

The Panthers had four shots in the game, with Ashley Jacobson and Andrea Richard having shots on goal.

The Panthers play at Judson (Ala.) in a non-conference game Friday. They return to Panther Field on Sept. 19 to take on William Peace in a USA South game.
