Women's Soccer: Panthers battle USA South foe Methodist

Visiting Methodist got a goal in each half to down LaGrange 2-0 in a USA South game Saturday. The Panthers are 5-13 overall and 2-8 in conference play, while the Monarchs improved to 8-5-2 and 7-1-2.

Freshman goalkeeper DeAundra Green had her second straight impressive outing coming off the bench. She played the final 51 minutes after starter Carly Farrow was injured and left the game. Green allowed a goal and finished with seven saves.

The Panthers host N.C. Wesleyan at 3 p.m. Sunday in a USA South game. It will be Senior Day for Trayton Carson-Tanner, Sydney Dorsey, Elise Hopson, Courtney Slauson and Kaylan Whetstone.
