Women's Soccer: Panthers take on top-seeded Maryville in USA South tournament

MARYVILLE, Tenn. - Top-seeded Maryville ended LaGrange's season with a 3-1 win in the first round of the USA South tournament Saturday. The Panthers finished the season 8-10-3 in reaching the conference tournament for the first time.

The Panthers struck first in the match. Brittany Gray scored in the sixth minute for a 1-0 lead. The Scots came back to with two goals before the half and added an insurance goal in the second half for the 3-1 margin.

Goalkeeper Chelsea Totaro had 12 saves in the match, eight coming in the first half.
