Women's Soccer: Panthers, Greensboro battle into overtime

Greensboro got the deciding goal in overtime to edge LaGrange 2-1 in a USA South match Sunday at Panther field. The hard-fought match left the Panthers 7-6-2 overall and 2-4-2 in conference play. 

Freshman Rebecca Rensenhouse scored to tie the match with under two minutes left in the first half with an assist from Sydney Dorsey. The goal was Rensenhouse's third of the season.

The two teams played a scoreless second half. Panther goalkeeper Chelsea Totaro had four of her seven saves in the half.

Greensboro got the game winner six minutes into overtime. Melanie Raton beat Totaro after taking a through ball from Lauren Greeson.

The Panthers host Maryville in a USA South match Saturday for Senior Day. It is the final regular season home match for the Panthers.
