Women's Soccer: Birmingham-Southern rolls past Panthers 6-0

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Birmingham-Southern rolled past LaGrange 6-0 in a non-conference game Wednesday. The loss left the Panthers 8-7 on the season.

The host Panthers got two goals each from Avery Newcomb and Amanda Babbin in building a 4-0 halftime lead. They second half goals by Bailey Kimbell and Heidrun Gudmundsdottir for the 6-0 final.

The Panthers were outshot 27-4 in the game and had only two shots on goal. Chelsea Totaro was in goal for the first half and Courtney Slauson in the second half for the Panthers.

The Panthers play at Methodist on Saturday and at North Carolina Wesleyan on Sunday in USA South games.
