Women's Soccer: Meredith tops Panthers 3-0

RALEIGH, N.C. - Meredith topped LaGrange 3-0 in a USA South game Saturday. The loss dropped the Panthers to 6-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play. The host Avenging Angels improved to 2-0 in the conference and 5-2 overall.

Meredith got a goal and an assist each from Jessie Davis and Taylor Brown. Anna Smither scored the other goal for the Avenging Angels.

The Panthers were outshot 25-4 in the game. The Panthers had only three shots on goal by Elise Hopson, Mendi Kallam and Sydney Dorsey.

Goalkeeper Chelsea Totaro recorded a season-high 13 saves. Totaro was one save shy of tying her career high of 14.

The Panthers play at William Peace on Sunday in a USA South game.
