MARION, Ala. - Judson built a 2-0 lead and held off a late LaGrange rally for a 2-1 win Thursday. The loss was the second straight for the Panthers, now 1-2.

Lisa Dundore scored both goals for the Eagles. The Panthers had a 9-7 edge in shots in the match. Goalkeeper Kristin Bird had three saves.

Freshman Kari Sybrandt scored for the Panthers in the 72nd minute off a pass from Rachael Stevenson. It was Sybrandt's first collegiate goal.

The Panthers host Emory & Henry on Saturday at 1 p.m.
