FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - Unbeaten Emmanuel blanked LaGrange 3-0 on Tuesday. The loss evened the Panthers' record at 1-1, while the Lions improved to 3-0.
Sisters Alexis and Jordana Schultz each scored a goal along with Emily Lecomte. Alexis Schultz, Lecomte and Carleen Striss each had an assist for Emmanuel.
Chelsea Totaro was credited with 18 saves in the match. The Panthers were held to seven shots in the match, just two shot on goal.
Emmanuel led 1-0 at halftime on Alexis Schultz's goal 14 minutes into the match. The Lions scored twice in a two-minute span at the start of the second half. Jordana Schultz struck first, followed by Lecomte's goal to make it 3-0.
The Panthers play at Judson (Ala.) on Thursday before opening their home schedule Saturday against Emory & Henry. Kickoff is 1 p.m.
