The Panthers controlled the game from the outset. Despite playing to a scoreless first half, the Panthers were keeping constant pressure on the Pioneer defense.
Eby, moved from goalkeeper to the midfield this season, got her first collegiate goal 13 minutes into the second half. Spencer Cullom's shot deflected off goalkeeper Emily Epperson. Eby cleaned up by putting the ball in the net for a 1-0 lead.
The Panthers added an insurance goal later in the half. Eby beat
Epperson for her second goal, with an assist from Cullom and Kylie
The Panthers enjoyed a 17-7 shot advantage in the game. Panther goalkeeper Laura Webber made six saves in recording her first collegiate shutout.
