Panthers end regular season with win over Wesleyan

It was the third match in four days for the Panthers. The Panthers finisheid sixth in the GSAC and will play either at Agnes Scott or Piedmont in the first round of the GSAC tournament. 

The Pioneers took an early lead in the first half. Carissa Brogdon scored on a penalty kick to make it 1-0. The Panthers tied it later in the first half.

Wesleyan goalkeeper Emily Epperson turned away Jennifer Eby's shot on goal. But Raukisha Ray put the rebound in the goal to tie the game at halftime.

The Panthers got the game winner in the 73rd minute. Akina Omae beat Epperson off an assist from Jillian Matthews for a 2-1 lead.

Stephanie Fowler had four saves in goal for the Panthers in getting her first collegiate win. The Panthers outhsot the Pioneers 14-9 in the match.
