Lacrosse: Panthers fall to visiting Reinhardt

The LaGrange (2-7) lacrosse team fell to visiting Reinhardt (6-4) on Saturday afternoon, 18-7, at Panther Field. Kelsey Griffin once again finished the day as the team's top goal scorer with four.

After trailing the Eagles 12-2 at the end of the first half, the Panthers fought back to add five goals in the second half, while holding Reinhardt to just six.

Adding to Griffin's four goals, was Tiffany Dillard with two, and Olivia Monroe with one of her own. Griffin also recorded an assist.

Goalkeeper Chelsea Totaro continued her dominance between the posts, collecting 20 saves for LaGrange.

Defensively for the Panthers, Audrey Fortmann, Ali Burnette and Dillard all forced one turnover. Becky Robertson collected three ground balls, while Sydney Dorsey and Sophia Durand each recorded two.

LaGrange will return to action on Tuesday as it hosts USA South rival Agnes Scott at Panther Field. Game time is 7 p.m.
