Lacrosse: Panthers finish two-game weekend road trip with loss to Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. - LaGrange finished its two-game weekend road trip with a 19-2 loss to Greensboro in a USA South game Sunday. The Panthers, playing their third game in as many days, dropped to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

Greensboro (2-2, 2-0 USA South) got goals from eight different players. Brittany Ziobro had five goals for The Pride. The Pride had a 38-6 shot advantage in the game.

The Panthers got their two goals from Kelsey Griffin and Sophia Durand. Griffin's goal was her team-leading 12th of the season. Durand scored her fifth goal of the season.

Goalkeeper Chelsea Totaro had 14 saves in the game. She has 57 saves on the season and leads the USA South.

The Panthers host Methodist and North Carolina Wesleyan on Friday and Saturday in USA South games.
