BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Birmingham-Southern blanked LaGrange 20-0 on Friday. The loss dropped the Panthers to 1-9 this season, while the host Panthers improved to 5-4.
Birmingham-Southern outshot the Panthers 51-8 in the game. Alexis Sweda led the winners with eight goals and an assist. Panther goalkeeper Chelsea Totaro had 23 saves in the game.
The Panthers host the University of the South (Sewanee) on Sunday in their final home game of the season.
