Women's Lacrosse: Panthers fall to Shenandoah in USA South game

Shenandoah built a large halftime lead and went on to a 15-1 win over LaGrange on Sunday at Panther Field in a USA South game. The loss dropped the Panthers to 0-2 overall and in the conference. The Hornets evened their record at 2-2 and are 2-0 conference play.

The Hornets led 10-0 at halftime. The Panthers avoided the shutout when Kelsey Griffin scored late in the second half.

Corrinne Kosmowski had four goals to lead the Hornets. Melissa Morgan added three goals. The Hornets had 10 different players with a goal.

The Panthers play at Methodist on Saturday and at N.C. Wesleyan on Sunday.
