Before joining the Panthers,
Hendley spent two years at Flint River Academy in Woodbury,
Ga. Hendley served on both the boys and girls varsity staffs
at Flint River. He served as an assistant coach for the boys
and girls varsity programs at LaGrange Academy before going to
Flint River.
At LaGrange Academy, Hendley served on the girl's staff that won
the 2007 GISA Class A state championship. During his time as
a high school coach, Hendley worked with six players who went on to
play college basketball.
Hendley prepped at Glynn Academy in
Brunswick, Ga. under coach Dan Moore. As an all-region
performer, Hendley played alongside the NBA's #1 draft pick in
Kwame Brown. During the 2000-2001 season, the Glynn Academy
Terrors played in the Georgia Class AAA Final Four and spent time
ranked in the top 10 in the state and the top 25 in the
nation. Hendley spent his summer playing a nationally ranked
AAU schedule with the Georgia Stars, an organization responsible
for sending several players through the professional
ranks.
Hendley works in all facets of the Panther program including
recruiting, offensive implementation and travel arrangements.
