Junior point guard Elizabeth Williams earned Great South Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors for the week ending Dec. 5. Williams is the second straight LaGrange player to be the GSAC Player of the Week. Sophomore wing Katie Covington took the honor last week.

Williams guided the Panthers to a 3-0 record last week. She averaged 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 9.0 assists, and 5.0 steals per game. Williams shot 48.1 percent from the floor and 76.2 percent at the free throw line.

Williams had the school's first triple-double of 13 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists against Covenant. The 11 assists tied her own school record for a game.
