FERRUM, Va. - Kayla Folds' two-hitter was not enough as Ferrum took both ends of a USA South doubleheader from LaGrange. The host Panthers edged Folds 1-0 in the first game, then won the second 6-3.

The Panthers (6-4, 2-2 USA South) had seven hits in both games. Laura Webber had two hits and drove in two runs for the Panthers in the second game. Maddie Kolovich had two hits in the first game.

In the first game, Folds gave up a second inning home run to Suzanne Plasters for the game's only run. She finished the game with six strikeouts and walked only one.
