ATLANTA, Ga. - Fourth-ranked Emory swept a doubleheader from LaGrange on Sunday at Cooper Field. The Eagles (25-3) won the first game 5-0 and completed the sweep with a 10-0 win in the second game.
Kayla Folds took the loss in the first game. She pitched six innings allowing the five runs, of which four were earned. Folds gave up nine hits, walked two and struck out six.
Lacee Landrum started and got the loss in the second game. She gave up eight runs, but only three were earned as the Panthers had three errors in the game. Amanda Stukel gave up two runs, one earned, in an inning of work. Christy Flick pitched a scoreless inning, striking out the side.
The Panthers are now 6-18 on the season. They host Wesleyan in a GSAC doubleheader Wednesday at 5 p.m.
