Men's Tennis: Panthers edge Averett for fifth straight win

The LaGrange men's tennis team won it fifth straight match, edging visiting Averett 5-4 on Saturday in a USA South match. The Panthers stayed perfect in the conference with a 3-0 record, while improving to 5-2 overall.

Senior Alex Glass' victory at No. 5 singles clinched the match for the Panthers. Glass defeated the Cougars' Rustam Aliev in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4.

The Panthers host Greensboro on Sunday in a USA South match starting at 12 p.m.
