LaGrange College men's and women's tennis head coach Matt Donnett announced the 2011 team awards at the team's end of season banquet.
Junior Blake Craft was the Most Valuable Player for the men. Craft posted a 5-7 overall record and 3-3 in the Great South Athletic Conference at #3 singles. He played seven matches at #2 doubles and six more at #1 doubles, with an overall record of 5-8 and 3-4 in the GSAC.
Senior Kaylen Short received the Coaches Award, given to the player who has shown tremendous hard work, dedication, improvement and has possibly fought through some injuries. Short was 3-5 overall and 2-3 in the GSAC playing all but one match at #6 singles. He also earned GSAC All-Academic honors for the second straight year.
