Men's Soccer: Haas, Wilson honored on Senior Day as the Panthers took on Averett

LaGrange celebrated Senior Day for Raymond Haas and A.J. Wilson as the Panthers took on USA South foe Averett on Sunday at Panther Field.

Haas has played in 62 matches for the Panthers with 57 starts during his career at LaGrange. He earned USA South Academic All-Conference honors last season.

Wilson, a transfer from North Georgia last season, led the USA South with 152 saves as a junior. He served four years in the Marines, including one tour in Afghanistan, and trained with the All-Marine Corps Soccer Team.

The visiting Cougars topped the Panthers 4-1 in the match. Daniel Provence scored his second goal of the season 10 minutes into the second half to cut Averett's lead to 2-1. The Cougars closed out the match with two more goals for the 4-1 final.

The Panthers host Piedmont on Saturday, Oct. 17 in their final home match of the season.
