Men's Soccer: Panthers push Hampden-Sydney down to the wire

SEWANEE, Tenn. - LaGrange pushed Hampden-Sydney down to the wire Saturday in a game played on the campus of the University of the South (Sewanee).

The Panthers (0-4) fell to the Tigers (3-1) in the non-conference tilt. Kristian Javier, playing in his first game of the season, scored unassisted in the first half for the Panthers.

Freshman Bonner Brooks made his first start in goal for the Panthers. He had two saves in the game. The Panthers had a 14-12 edge in shots in the game.

The Panthers play Sewanee on Sunday at 2 p.m.
