Men's Soccer: Methodist pulls away in second half to down Panthers in USA South contest

Visiting Methodist pulled away in the second half for a 6-0 USA South win over LaGrange on Saturday. The Monarchs improved to 11-2-1 overall and 6-2 in conference play, while the Panthers are now 1-14-1 and 0-8.

The Monarchs led 1-0 at halftime, then used a five-goal second half to seal the win. They held an 18-1 shot advantage over the Panthers in the game. 

A.J. Wilson allowed six goals and had five saves in 80 minutes in goal for the Panthers. Jim Whitehead closed out the game and recorded a save.

The Panthers host N.C. Wesleyan in a USA South game Sunday at 12:30 p.m. It will be Senior Day for Caelin Campbell, Dylan Corbett, Matthew Daniel and Adrien Vakerics.
