Men's Soccer: Sewanee edges Panthers in two overtimes, 1-0

SEWANEE, Tenn. - Sewanee (University of the South) edged LaGrange 1-0 in two overtimes Friday. The Panthers slipped to 2-4 on the season with their second straight loss.

Sewanee (3-4) scored the game-winner just 48 seconds into the overtime. Samuel Edoung-Biyo beat Panther goalkeeper Donnie Palmer off a pass from Chris Haberstroh.

The host Tigers had a 17-5 shot advantage in the game. Palmer had four saves in the game, two coming in the first overtime.

The Panthers had only one shot on goal in the game. Tiger goalkeeper Jacob Zalewski stopped Jeronimo Sanchez's shot with less than three minutes left in the first half.

The Panthers play at Covenant on Saturday at 7 p.m.
