Men's Soccer: Panthers remain winless in GSAC with loss to Huntingdon

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Huntngdon kept LaGrange College winless in Great South Athletic Conference play with a 2-0 win over the Panthers on Tuesday. The loss dropped the Panthers to 2-11 overall and 0-4 in the conference.

The Hawks (3-9-2, 1-1 GSAC) had a 10-8 edge in shots in the match. The Panthers had only one shot of goal during the match.

The Panthers lost starting goalkeeper Donnie Palmer and defender James Prince to injuries in the second minute of the match after they collided on a play. Tom Humberstone played the rest of the match in goal for the Panthers.

Huntingdon scored its first goal in a the 26th minute on an unassisted goal by Dallas Thomas. The Hawks added an insurance goal by Blake Spiker in the second half for the 2-0 final.
