Piedmont ends Panthers' season in GSAC semifinals
Piedmont took a 1-0 lead into the
second half. The Panthers tied the match less than a minute into
the second half. Cameron Williams scored unassisted for his
team-leading 10th goal of the season.
The Lions took the lead for good in the 72nd minute. Jorge
Pradilla, the GSAC Player of the Year, scored to put the Lions up
2-1. He added an insurance goal seven minutes later for the 3-1
final.
The Panthers were outshot 17-6 and 13-3 on-goal. Panther goalkeeper
Josh Murphy had 10 saves in the match.
