The Panthers rallied from a 3-1
halftime deficit against Emory & Henry to send the game into
overtime. Cameron Williams scored unassisted 11 minutes into the
second half. Travis Riner tied the game 3-3 with less than three
minutes left in regulation off an assist from Aristote Kamba. The
host Yellow Jackets scored the game-winner with less than three
minutes left in the second overtime.
Mohamed Sesay scored the Panthers' first half goal with an assist
from Ryan Wakenigg. Josh Murphy had 10 saves in goal for the
Panthers.
Murphy had seven saves in the loss to Averett. The Panthers were
outshot 25-15 in the game. Averett's final goal with under three
minutes left in the game.
The Panthers host Tennessee Temple on Saturday at 4
p.m.
