LaGrange center Patrick Dugger is the USA South Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 17. Dugger also received the award earlier in the season for the week ending Nov. 18.
The junior averaged a double-double of 19.0 points and 14.5 rebounds per game as the Panthers went 1-1 in USA South games last week. He also averaged 3.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per game.
In a loss at Greensboro, Dugger became the first LaGrange player since the program became an NCAA institution to score at least 20 points and grab at least 20 rebounds in a game. He had 22 points and 20 rebounds along with two blocks and a steal.
Dugger scored 16 points, grabbed nine rebounds, blocked four shots, and had an assist and steal in the win over Methodist. He is second on the team in scoring, averaging 12.6 points per game, while pulling down a team best 9.3 rebounds per game.
